Ephesians 4:5 - One Lord, one faith and one baptism.

Mission Statement

The Greater Holy Tabernacle Church is called to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to uphold the Apostles Doctrine of One Lord, One Faith and One Baptism; to hold fast and promote the promise of the Comforter in the person of the Holy Ghost; to maintin the worship of God, and to inspire in all persons a love for Christ, a passion for righteousness, and a consciousness of their duties to God and their fellow human beings; to operate through prophetic preaching and teaching; to evangelize and minister to the broken-hearted, the sin sick, the downtrodden, and all those who will heed the word of the Lord; to bring the hope of the gospel to our community, "take every thought captive to Christ."

God has called this congregation to bring his healing love to hurting people; to help restore this community by giving spiritual guidance and hope to those who have lost their way, feeding the hungry, giving clothing to the needy and helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds develop their skills and abilities so that the affects of poverty, homelessness and hunger in our communities, may be alleviated. This church will stand as a beacon of progression for this community, to those who seek to elevate their socioeconomic level through education, rearing, and child development.

God has called this congregation to be dedicated to bringing wisdom and knowledge to an unaware world. It is our charge to globally spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, to become covenant partners with poverty stricken countries and build missions that will house, feed and educate the needy. We are commissioned to indiscriminately amplify the infallible word of God to every race, creed, and color.

God has called this congregation to courageously represent the kingdom of God through witness, discipleship and service to others. We take seriously the Scriptures, prayer and the call to "do justice, love mercy and walk humbly before God" (Micah 3:8). To promulgate the gospel focusing upon our ultimate mission; this is to become not only an organization, but a vital organism in the community as we prepare a dying world for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
